I am lucky enough to be living in a beautiful house in San Francisco, with a gorgeous backyard. I moved into this house a few months ago with my best friend. Within a week of searching for places to live we found this gem!!

But you know what they say, easy come, easy go. Due to some issues with our other housemate, we will have to move out in a few months. Although it will be sad to say goodbye to our home and secret garden, I know that whatever happens will be for the best!

I've been slowly but surely getting over a nasty winter bug. Yesterday was the first day I was able to dress up and feel pretty again. Here I am in my backyard pretending to be an aeroplane!

Twin Peaks!

I saw Twin Peaks for the first time in December. Oh man was it scary it the best possible way. Last night by chance I saw this photo of me taken about 3 years ago. The first thing that came to my mind was the Black Lodge in Twin Peaks. Haunting!

Sew, Sew, Sew. Make, Make, Make.

Lately my mantra has been, "Sew, Sew, Sew. Make, Make, Make." After a recent trip to Japan, I've started to realize how important it is to me to work on my own creations and visions rather than working to fulfill someone else's dream. The Bow Brooch is one of my latest creations! I'm working on others, but do have a Bow Necklace available on my etsy shop.

These photos were taken awhile in back on a day trip to Bodega Bay. I found a little bay that was filled with

sandpipers, it was quite charming. I went with a boy who took these pictures, I wish I could have him around more often as a personal photographer! I think he captured my personality and style well.

So, I promised myself I'd be a better blogger with this new blog and already I'm falling behind! Boo. I do have a handful of excuses, but really I'll spare everyone. Here is a picture of me hiding in two of my prettiest dresses. The black one was a recent present from my best friend, and the lavender one is a dress I wore to my high school prom years, and years, and years ago!! I'm thinking of putting the prom dress in my etsy shop, but haven't quite decided yet. It's beautiful, but I know I probably won't wear it again...

my new favorite best...

I recently found this lovely black vintage slip, and cream cardigan. I played with some old favorites to create this look. It's my new favorite. I find it so lovely and strange how an outfit can really affect your mood. This outfit makes me feel like writing love letters sealed with wax initials, riding trains, pretending to be a aged black and white photograph, taking a stroll on a cobblestone street, drinking fancy coffee drinks in pretty cafes...
